About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Independent. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients and customers
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and surrounding areas
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
  • Represent Chartwells - Independent and maintain a positive brand image
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Able to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels
  • An excellent team player with a committed and organized approach
  • Flexible to work shifts and willing to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Exceptionally reliable and able to maintain a high level of timekeeping
