We are thrilled to present a unique opportunity for a Healthcare Practitioner to become a vital part of our Primary Care team within a correctional facility. This establishment is designed to provide comprehensive medical services to a diverse patient population.
The facility accommodates approximately 1150 individuals aged 18 and above, including a significant number of elderly patients. This position is ideal for a healthcare professional with a keen interest in providing holistic care for chronic conditions, substance dependency, or mental health issues. The establishment operates a round-the-clock healthcare service, and as part of your responsibilities, you will conduct ward rounds in a specialized inpatient unit dedicated to elderly care, as well as manage evening consultations.
Work ScheduleThe role offers flexible hours, with shifts from Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 10 PM, and weekend mornings. We welcome applications for both part-time and full-time positions.
CompensationThis is a full-time position, offering an annual salary of up to £126,000 FTE, commensurate with experience.
