Key Responsibilities:- Ensure full compliance to daily and weekly production plans, delivering a quality food product range OTIF, meeting customer deadlines to a costed standard.
- Deliver world-class manufacturing standards through self-development and team development, ensuring excellent GMP/HACCP standards at all times.
- Liaise with department leaders to coordinate stock, production, picking, and dispatch, ensuring the smooth running of the core business.
- Manage, control, and achieve set KPIs, including Plan attainment, Cost of Quality, Labour Cost, Training, Skills Gap, Recruitment/Retention, Downtime, and Waste.
- Take the lead on all things food safety, proactive and reactive day-to-day problem-solving to ensure daily production plans are met.
- Proactively suggest process improvements/CI to improve throughputs and efficiency, focusing on SIC/bottleneck management and team management.
- Be a real people motivator, manager, trainer, and developer of the production team workers, maximizing their potential.
- Food Production/Processing experience at Shift Manager, FLM, Area Manager, Section Manager, Production Manager, or Factory Manager level.
- Chilled Food sector experience.
- Passionate mentor, coach, and motivator of others.
- Strong in GMP, BRC Audits, Retailer Codes, H&S, HACCP, SIC, CI, LEAN, Zero Waste, and Quality.
- Able to lead teams of 5+ (directs) and c Operatives (indirects).
Immediate start for the right applicant, commutable from Middlesborough, Billingham, Stockton on Tees, Thornaby, Hartlepool, Redcar, Sedgefield, Peterlee, Northallerton, Darlington, and Newton Aycliffe.
