Position Overview: With the expansion of the Full Fibre Network Build sector, GCU is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to support various contracts. We are dedicated to creating a nurturing work environment where motivated individuals can seek guidance and grow their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost estimation and planning
- Administration of contracts and financial oversight
- On-site measurement and valuation of works
- Preparation of cost reports
- Final account management
- Resolution of contractual disputes
- Engagement with clients and site personnel
- Monthly financial evaluations, reporting, and oversight of variations and expenditures
- Emphasis on health and safety, risk management, and profit margin control
- Compliance with subcontract agreements and management of subcontractor payments
Qualifications: We seek candidates who possess or are on track to obtain a HND or higher in Quantity Surveying.
