Job Title: Graduate Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Controls Engineer to join our team at Samuel Frank. As a Graduate Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program PLCs and develop control systems for various applications
  • Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting on existing PLC code
  • Develop and implement electrical drawings and schematics
  • Support the engineering team in delivering Continuous Improvement projects and process improvements
  • Creation of new PLC programs and software updates when required
  • Support the maintenance team in maintaining the plant and equipment to agreed standards
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Control and Instrumentation Engineering, Control and Automation, or Robotics
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and fault-finding
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
