Salary: £14.23 per hour

We are seeking a Production Operative to join our team at Thermofisher Basingstoke. As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for various tasks in the manufacturing process, including mixing and weighing product ingredients, filling and packaging, and heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Mixing and weighing product: You will be involved in the process of mixing and accurately weighing product ingredients according to set guidelines.
  2. Filling and packaging: As a Production Operative, you will fill the mixed product into containers, seal them with lids, and pack them into boxes for shipment or storage.
  3. Heavy lifting: The role will involve lifting bags of product weighing up to 25 kg, so physical strength and ability are necessary.
  4. Attention to detail: Ensuring precision and accuracy during the production process is crucial to maintain product quality.
  5. Teamwork: The ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
