Job Title: Site Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Randstad Tech IT. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial site in Milton Keynes.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and facilities maintenance. You will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the site, including planned servicing, reactive maintenance, and large-scale projects. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the site's infrastructure, including HVAC systems, air handling units, chiller equipment, boilers, and plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the site's infrastructure is in good working order
  • Carry out repairs and replacements as needed to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute large-scale projects
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize site performance
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failure
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial facilities maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
  • Experience working with HVAC systems, air handling units, chiller equipment, boilers, and plumbing
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
