Job Summary:

We are seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to join our client's plastic manufacturing company in the Norwich region. As a Production Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of around 10 made up of Setters and Operators, reporting into the Production Manager, and developing the team in terms of training, meeting KPI targets, and general improvements of the team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of around 10 made up of Setters and Operators
  • Reporting into the Production Manager
  • Developing the team in terms of training, meeting KPI targets, and general improvements of the team
  • Carrying out handovers every shift
  • Assisting with the budgeting for the department alongside the manager
  • Making sure the team are adhering to health and safety standards
  • Carrying out general admin tasks - Disciplinary actions

Requirements:

  • Experience in a production team leadership or management role
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
