About the Role

Mivan Marine Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Marine team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the necessary resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop a project plan and ensure the necessary resources are organised to meet the plan. Continually monitor progress and take all necessary steps to ensure the completion date is met.
  • Develop a project budget and ensure the project is delivered within that budget.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out to the client's specifications.
  • Ensure that the project resources i.e. staff, labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors are effectively managed.
  • Liaise with clients and their agents to advise on progress and problem resolution as required.
  • Ensure contractual conditions are adhered to and the contractual position is not compromised.
  • Monitor the financial performance of the project and take all necessary steps to minimise costs.
  • Proactively develop relationships with clients.
  • Proactively participate in value engineering to maximise project contribution.
  • Ensure that a high standard of safety is maintained throughout the project and that all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures are adhered to.
  • Attend meetings and surveys with the client representatives in locations around the world.
  • Deliver projects on a worldwide basis.
Requirements
  • Project management experience of interior fit-out.
  • Relevant qualification.
  • Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills.
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure, find resolutions and solve problems.
  • Great attention to detail, commercial acumen and cost control.
  • Ability to build and promote successful customer relationships.
