Job Title: Architectural Designer

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team at IA Interior Architects. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing design support and expertise on corporate interior design projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement design concepts and solutions for clients
  • Collaborate with senior technical staff and design staff to provide technical solutions for design dilemmas
  • Manage client relationships and ensure positive outcomes
  • Coordinate with engineering consultants to ensure compliance with design solutions and timely submission of documents
  • Manage contract administration budgets and ensure adherence to set budgets
  • Mentor junior designers and provide feedback on work product
Requirements:
  • Graduate of architecture or design school
  • 3+ years' experience in corporate interior design projects
  • Extensive knowledge of design principles and standards
  • Intermediate documentation and field observational skills
  • Advanced interior architecture detailing skills
  • Working knowledge of building systems, codes, and ADA requirements
  • Working knowledge of space requirements
  • Working knowledge of contract administration
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite skills
  • Advanced Revit skills
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills
  • Affinity Program skills or equivalent
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate presentation and graphic communication skills
