Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Line Leader to join our team at Blue Arrow - Bellshill. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production line, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate production plans and set up the production line accordingly.
  • Prepare work schedules and assign workers production line tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of production line operations.
  • Optimize production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
  • Identify and resolve production line problems promptly.
  • Perform recordkeeping tasks, including line throughput, efficiencies, and order planning.
  • Train and supervise new production line workers.
  • Maintain a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Provide routine progress updates and escalate areas of concern to the Production Manager.
  • Undertake training as instructed within Company training plans to develop skills applicable to specific functions.
  • Adhere to the Company's Health and Safety policy and show a diligent approach to safety matters within the factory areas.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a line leader is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of product manufacturing, and specifications production standards and industry regulations.
  • Experience in computers and office software.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving techniques.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in Fast Manufacturing Consumer Goods (FMCG).
  • Access to own transport is beneficial but not required as the site is easily accessible through public transport.
