About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Planner to join our team at Kier Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and mature the main works programme for construction projects.
  • Construct, update, and maintain programmes, including resource and cost loading.
  • Update and monitor project progress, compile reports against project and contract requirements.
  • Introduce and analyze changes in programmes and support the commercial teams.
  • Evaluate supply chain and subcontract programmes and advise on quality and compliance.
Requirements
  • A qualification in civil engineering or construction to HND level or equivalent.
  • Previous experience and a sound knowledge of construction techniques, with a good commercial and contractual acumen.
  • Ideal experience in fit-out and services to multi-level buildings.
  • Capability in the use of standard planning software, preferably P6, and 4D software.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of design software, including CAD and Civils 3D, Revit.
