Fabric Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to support the maintenance of our distribution sites. This is a Temp to Perm position with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on the fabric of the buildings, ensuring a high standard of upkeep.
  • Carry out minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and decorating tasks as needed.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with other engineers and contractors to address any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance tasks and repairs.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in fabric maintenance, including minor repairs and general building upkeep.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across multiple sites efficiently.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with site management and other stakeholders.
