We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Delkia, a specialist engineering and technology company for safety-related and mission-critical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering key projects comprising product, process, and system development, and contributing to the enhancement of our project management framework.
Key Responsibilities- Define, plan, track, and manage projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Lead project resources to achieve project objectives and ensure the successful handover of projects
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver projects to defined cost, schedule, and quality requirements
- Support tender submissions from a project management perspective
- Monitor and report project spending and variances using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques
- Prepare meeting packs, presentations, and capture minutes, agreed actions, and update teams and senior management
- Positively influence key stakeholders associated with the project
- Develop and maintain project documentation templates
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed in line with the schedule
- Identify potential dependencies, assumptions, risks, exceptions, opportunities, project problems, mitigation contingencies, and implement corrective actions
- Play an active part in the Lessons Identified process across all projects and embed a culture of continuous improvement
- Degree (or working towards) in Project Management (desirable)
- APM Project Management Qualification (desirable)
- Proven experience of delivering projects to time, cost, and quality
- Successful experience of translating analysis into practical implementation
- Proficient with the full Microsoft Office suite
- Schedule baseline creation and management
- Detail-oriented, high standard of accuracy, and quality
