Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Coventry

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum

Hours: 3 Shift Rotation / 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with the ability to fault find on Siemens PLC and ABB Robots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimise downtime and maximise machine capability
  • Maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of production machinery, equipment and systems
  • Participation in the identification and procurement of consumables and machine spares
  • Accompany, assist and monitor service engineers, contractors and vendors as required
  • Ensure efficient shift handovers to ensure machines and plant are safe and maintained at optimum operational condition

Requirements:

  • Time served apprentice or NVQ in mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding and ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic technical drawings
  • Previous PLC fault finding experience - Siemens
  • Experience in fault finding on ABB Robots
  • Ideal candidate will have their 18th Edition in Electrical installation
