Statistical Research Analyst - Your Role in the Team

Research in trading is essential for the ongoing improvement of electronic trading solutions. This encompasses financial modeling, analysis of market microstructure, evaluation of transaction costs, advanced forecasting, assessment of model risk, time series analysis, and evaluation of trading performance. The insights derived from this research significantly influence trading efficiency, optimal execution strategies, and product innovation. Additionally, findings are regularly communicated to clients.

Types of Analysis Conducted:

  • Generalized Linear Models (including Linear regression, ANOVA, ANCOVA)
  • Mixed Effects Models (preferred)
  • Dimension reduction and feature engineering techniques (such as PCA, k-means, etc.)
  • L1 and L2 regularization methods
  • Bayesian Analysis (advantageous)
  • Model diagnostic evaluations
  • Descriptive statistics and outlier identification
  • Hypothesis testing methodologies
  • Graphical Data Representations
  • Proficiency in Python for development tasks
  • Utilizing cloud data services
  • Developing data services and APIs
  • Generating reports and visualizations
