Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Greggs bakery team. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service and sales results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the bakery in the absence of the Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of bakery staff to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Develop and implement effective store layouts and visual merchandising to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, inventory, and cash handling procedures to maintain store profitability.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data and implement effective strategies to drive growth.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.
