We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our team on a 3-6 month locum basis. The role offers fully remote working with equipment delivered prior to contract start, and a competitive hourly rate of up to \u00a365 p/hour UMB, subject to PQE.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Employment Law and experience in managing a full caseload of Employment Law matters and litigation. They will also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the Council at a range of hearings, including first-tier tribunal claims.

The role will involve drafting and negotiating a range of documents and agreements, including finalising bundles and draft statements. The successful candidate will also have experience in assisting on insurance claims, including liaising with insurers and advising clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a full caseload of Employment Law matters and litigation
  • Representing the Council at a range of hearings, including first-tier tribunal claims
  • Drafting and negotiating a range of documents and agreements
  • Assisting on insurance claims, including liaising with insurers and advising clients

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Employment Law

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
