Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team at Allied Bakeries. As a key member of our Logistics department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transport services.

Key Responsibilities

• Debriefing drivers upon their return to the depot, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and accurate.
• Verifying the accuracy of PODs (Proof of Delivery) and processing adjustments as required.
• Utilizing telematics tracking systems to support day-to-day operations.
• Processing collection notes, printing, and checking upon return to site.
• Recording basket information in Excel and ensuring driver tachograph cards are downloaded regularly.
• Collaborating with drivers to identify root causes of losses and working with the Customer Contact Department to resolve complaints in a timely manner.
• Investigating customer claims through the dispute system using PODs.
• Compiling reports (e.g., losses reports, outstanding delivery/collection notes) as needed, and analyzing data to provide insights to relevant stakeholders.
• Providing administrative support to the Logistics Management Team as required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Numerate and literate with a strong analytical mindset.
• Previous experience in transport or a similar administrative role is desirable.
• GCSE level education (minimum 5 GCSEs grade A*-C or equivalent).
• Self-motivated with a drive for results and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
