Northampton, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust. Full time

This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time Consultant Rheumatologist to join a dedicated team at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust. You will be working alongside three full-time Consultant Rheumatologists and one part-time consultant, contributing to the comprehensive rheumatological services offered to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will integrate into the existing consultant team and collaborate with our specialist nursing staff to deliver exceptional outpatient rheumatology care. You will also have admitting rights for rheumatology patients, generally managed in conjunction with ward-based medical teams.

Our facility is equipped with a full range of biologic and chemotherapeutic services, administered through our medical day unit by dedicated infusion nurses. Additionally, there are opportunities to engage in clinical trials through our established research and development unit, which is expanding its portfolio of rheumatology studies.
