This role involves working closely with children in care, prioritizing their needs and well-being in all aspects of their lives. Your daily responsibilities will include supporting their educational pursuits, hobbies, and activities, while also contributing to the development of positive outcomes that shape their futures.



We\u2019re seeking a highly motivated and committed individual with a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to children and young people. As a Children\u2019s Support Worker at Nurseplus, you\u2019ll have the opportunity to work across various settings, including Mental Health, Autism, Challenging behaviour, Education, and Residential.

Responsibilities


  • \t
  • Support, safeguard, and promote the wellbeing of children and young people
    \t
  • Assist with daily routines, including community and educational settings
    \t
  • Organize and facilitate social activities, transportation, and work with a multi-disciplinary team to implement safe practice
    \t
  • Offer high levels of supervision and support, working in line with Ofsted and CQC regulations
    \t
  • Manage complex behaviors and crisis intervention, contributing to care plans and risk assessments
    \


Requirements


  • \t
  • A minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience working in a child and/or young adult setting
    \t
  • Age 21 or above, meeting industry regulations
    \t
  • Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
    \t
  • Diploma level 3 in children\u2019s and young people, desirable level 4
    \
