About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Recovery College and Lived Experience Workforce. As the Head of Lived Experience Workforce and Recovery College, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of the Recovery College, as well as the Lived Experience Practice and Peer Support Worker provision within the Mental Health Clinical Board of Cardiff & Vale UHB.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a clear vision and strategy for the Recovery College and Lived Experience Workforce, aligned with current policy and best practice.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure the effective operation of the Recovery College and Lived Experience Practice, including the management of staff, resources, and budgets.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the integration of the Recovery College and Lived Experience Workforce with other services and departments within the Mental Health Clinical Board.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including service users, carers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the Recovery College and Lived Experience Workforce are responsive to their needs.
  • Ensure the Recovery College and Lived Experience Workforce are equipped to provide high-quality services that meet the needs of service users, including the development and implementation of training programs and quality assurance processes.
