Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetist to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Locum Anaesthetic Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cardiothoracic anaesthesia, with experience in managing complex cardiac and thoracic surgical cases. You will be responsible for providing anaesthetic care to patients undergoing a range of procedures, including thoracic surgery, cardiac surgery, and major trauma cases.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. If you are a motivated and experienced Anaesthetist looking for a new challenge, we would welcome your application.

Requirements
  • Full and Specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists or equivalent
  • MD or PhD or equivalent
  • Accreditation in focused TTE or engaged in accreditation process for TOE
  • FFICM or EDIC
