Job Title: Director of Flight Operations

About the Role:

Ascend Airways is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Flight Operations to join our leadership team. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic management of the Flight Ops department, overseeing the work and management of all roles within the department.
  • Ensuring compliance with CAA regulations and other relevant legislation affecting air operations.
  • Supervising incident management and championing health and safety standards.
  • Reporting on departmental updates and monitoring operational efficiency standards.
  • Maintaining key relationships with internal departments, third parties, and clients.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in flight operations leadership, experience as a Boeing Pilot, and a proven track record in senior management positions within the aviation industry.
