Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Abbey Park Primary Academy. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the professional work of teachers and our SENCO by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess pupils' achievement and progress and development against EHCP plans
  • Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals/groups or whole class for PPA or short absences
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils
