Graduate Academic Mentor

We are seeking a highly motivated and exceptional Graduate Academic Mentor to join our team at an inner city, Ofsted 'Outstanding' graded secondary school and sixth form college.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and a passion for education, with a keen interest in the field of education. They will be responsible for creating provisions to ensure exceptional progress is made by GCSE and A-Level students within their subject specialism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to support student progress
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Provide individualized support to students to help them achieve their academic goals
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources

Requirements:

  • Russell group graduates needed – Maths, English, Science, Geography, History, MFL, Computer Science, Psychology
  • 1st/2:1 degree grade is essential
  • Previous experience welcomed but not essential for this post
