About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join our team at Cavendish Nuclear, part of Babcock International Group. As a Bid Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the submission of winning bids, particularly in competitive situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stakeholder inputs and interests from across the business to ensure successful bid outcomes.
  • Prepare and lead opportunities through the CN governance process, including gate and coloured reviews.
  • Identify, secure, and mobilise capability and functional support from across the business and external supply-chain.
  • Provide regular progress updates and liaise with the business to manage/mitigate issues threatening successful bid progress.
  • Engage with a range of SMEs, capability, functional, and business personnel during bid preparation and coloured reviews.
  • Ensure post-tender/pre-contract submission that clarifications and customer-facing requirements are suitably met.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in bid management of complex bids over £10m or 5 years of bid management experience.
  • Strong organisational traits and ability to respect the importance of and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the end-to-end Business Winning process and management system.
  • Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in meeting deadlines.
  • Practical understanding and appreciation of key components underpinning an offer.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
