Fire and Security Alarm Engineer Opportunity

Workshop Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire and Security Alarm Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire and security systems, with a focus on installation, service, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, and commission intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Install, service, and commission fire alarm systems, including conventional and addressable systems.
  • Interpret system design and liaise with other building service suppliers.
  • Carry out small works concerning system additions and alterations.
  • Respond to system breakdowns and perform fault finding.
  • Servicing and maintenance of fire detection systems, EVC, intruder, CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in the fire and safety industry.
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
  • Flexible attitude to working hours and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of fire and life safety products, systems, procedures, and relevant British/European Standards.
  • ECS/CSCS Card.
Package:
  • Competitive salary range: £28,000-£40,000 DOE.
  • 4-day working week (Fridays required during school holidays and call-out).
  • Company van and fuel card.
  • Door-to-door pay and annual bonus.
