Assistant Property Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team in Hertfordshire. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Property Managers and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dealing with resident issues and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Creation of purchase orders, cheque requests, and credit notes
  • Credit control and rent collection management
  • Liaising with accounts over payments and receipts
  • Logging and management of all maintenance issues and arranging repairs and services
  • Control of all administration and filing
  • Responsible for maintaining health and safety on site
  • Service Charge Budget setting
  • Aftersales interaction
  • Assisting Property Managers with their day-to-day needs
  • Creating new property packs for tenants
Requirements:
  • Relevant leasehold block management experience preferred
  • Good understanding of property maintenance and overseeing in-house contractors and third-party contractors
  • Ability to deal with ad-hoc problems and unforeseeable situations
  • Minimum of 12 months specific leasehold property management experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
