Fleet Utilization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Utilization Officer to join our Transport and Fleet operations Team at East Renfrewshire Council.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a comprehensive study and analysis of current systems, processes, procedures, and work measurements to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement improvements that will significantly contribute to the council's Fleet Cost Savings Strategy and the Fleet Transformation Strategy, aimed at meeting government targets for Net Zero carbon emissions.
- Collaborate closely with vehicle user departments, Transport Manager, Workshop Manager, Fleet Compliance team, ICT department, and external service providers to achieve these goals.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
