Job Overview

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to provide one-to-one support to students with Special Education Needs (SEN) in Maths and English. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong understanding of SEN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored Maths and English support to students with ADHD and autism
  • Assess and reintroduce education into the students' routines
  • Work with students at a lower level, adapting lessons to meet their needs
  • Collaborate with local authorities and SEND teams to ensure a suitable school provision is found
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN or disengaged pupils
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Strong understanding of SEN and ability to think creatively
