KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client's team in Lanarkshire. This position involves trunking operations, delivering full loads to various destinations within the central belt.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Transporting full loads of goods to designated locations across the central belt region.
  • Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of cargo while maintaining its integrity.
  • Conducting thorough pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections to guarantee safety and compliance.
  • Promptly reporting any discrepancies or potential hazards to the designated line manager.
  • Securing freight effectively for safe transit, adhering to all relevant regulations and protocols.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses proven experience operating a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV).
  • Demonstrates the ability to meet delivery deadlines consistently.
  • Takes pride in maintaining the vehicle and equipment in excellent condition.
  • Exhibits strong customer service skills.
  • Holds a valid Digital Tacho Card, Driving Licence, and Driver CPC Certification.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of driver regulations.
  • Has a minimum of 6 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
  • Maintains a clean driving record with no IN, DD, or DR endorsements.
