About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Linum Consult, a leading specialist civil engineering company. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Administration: Compare and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations, prepare quotation enquiries, and certify sub-contractor payments.
  • Estimating and Tendering: Review tender documentation, provide feasibility advice, and develop bills of quantities and schedules of rates for tender applications.
  • Project Coordination: Monitor subcontractors' performances, resolve disputes between contracting parties, and maintain awareness of different building contracts in current use.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue future business opportunities, explore new markets, and cultivate client relationships.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in a relevant role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of civils/repairs works, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English.
