London, Greater London, United Kingdom Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc. Full time

The Survey Division is tasked with the comprehensive execution of survey initiatives across diverse industry sectors, demographic regions, and client categories. This team manages the delivery of numerous survey projects each month, necessitating a high level of precision, the capability to manage multiple priorities, and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. A strong analytical mindset and a commitment to innovative problem-solving, client engagement, and project oversight are essential.

Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc. is on the lookout for a driven and passionate Senior Survey Associate to become a part of the Survey Division in London, which operates within the broader Strategic Solutions Group. This role involves collaboration with GLG Client Solutions and Business Development teams, as well as interaction with a sophisticated clientele, particularly from top-tier consulting firms, financial services, and corporate sectors.

The Senior Survey Associate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing surveys that assist clients in assessing and analyzing market trends through commercial evaluations, product predictions, and overall market insights.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Crafting and managing tailored surveys focused on specific topics and target groups.
  2. Generating comprehensive reports based on survey findings for clients.
  3. Addressing survey requests that involve intricate requirements and client-specific needs.
  4. Fostering and maintaining strong professional relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. 1-3 years of experience in market research and survey design, including familiarity with online survey tools.
  2. A proven track record of collaborating with team members in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, process-driven, client-focused environment.
  3. Knowledge across various industry sectors, including but not limited to: Healthcare, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, and Financial Services.
  4. Experience in questionnaire and survey development/programming (e.g., proficiency with Qualtrics).
  5. Skills in analyzing data and communicating survey outcomes to stakeholders.
  6. Understanding of statistical methodologies.
  7. Exceptional writing, reasoning, and interpersonal skills; including strong organizational abilities.
  8. A demonstrated capacity to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
  9. Excellent conceptual and analytical thinking abilities.
  10. Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and identify and resolve issues.
  11. Strong problem-solving aptitude.
  12. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  13. Full business proficiency in English.

Following a period of consistent high-quality delivery and effective relationship management, Senior Survey Associates typically advance to Survey Manager positions, where they oversee their own portfolio of clients, manage client relationships, and take on increased account management responsibilities.

What we provide:

  1. Competitive salary and annual bonus along with comprehensive benefits (including healthcare coverage, a contributory pension plan, and generous annual leave).
  2. Global tuition reimbursement to support ongoing professional education for GLG team members.
  3. A collaborative team environment with social events, off-site activities, and opportunities to participate in sports teams.
  4. An opportunity to engage with GLG's Social Impact Partners Programme.
