The Role: Data Product Analyst - Look-Through Data

We are seeking a talented Data Product Analyst to join our Alternatives Data Management (ADM) team. ADM is one of Addepar's most sought-after products, providing clients with timely and accurate data about their investments in alternative assets such as private equity funds, hedge funds, and real estate funds.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing our new 'look-through' data product. This innovative solution will empower clients to access and analyze portfolio company holdings data from their private funds, enabling them to perform comprehensive portfolio exposure analysis.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust document processing and data extraction workflows for statements of investment and quarterly/annual reports containing 'look-through' data into fund portfolio company holdings.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and data operations teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and timely data solutions through Addepar's workflow solutions and APIs.
  • Contribute to the development of data-driven solutions and improvements in collaboration with user experience, design, and project management teams.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Addepar's products and clients. Leverage these insights to identify new opportunities and drive innovation within our client-facing solutions.

Who You Are:

  • Possess 2+ years of experience working in the Private Funds / Alternative Investment space with a strong understanding of private fund reporting and alternative investments data.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effectively interacting with fund administrators, investment advisors, clients, and internal team members.
  • Exhibit self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
