Job Title: Sales Co-ordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Co-ordinator to join our team at Manpower UK - RISE. As a Sales Co-ordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient sales coordination and business administration for HVAC products in our Cardiff Branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process customer orders and inquiries accurately and efficiently.
  2. Purchase necessary items from suppliers following company guidelines.
  3. Coordinate stock transfers and deliveries with other branches.
  4. Provide accurate transport quotes and optimize cost recovery.
  5. Keep customers informed about order status and delivery.
  6. Work with management to maximize sales and business development.
  7. Engage in up-selling and promote company products.
  8. Size and select air movement items based on customer needs.
  9. Maintain sales through customer meetings and communications.
  10. Manage discounts, stock levels, and credit control with relevant departments.
  11. Complete daily and month-end administrative duties.
  12. Handle cash and credit card payments for trade counter sales.
  13. Participate in company stock takes and assist in staff training.
  14. Follow all company policies, including Health & Safety, and ensure compliance.
  15. Maintain professionalism in customer and colleague interactions.
  16. Commit to ongoing product knowledge development.
  17. Perform any additional duties needed for branch operations.

Limits of Authority:

  1. Negotiate customer discounts within set limits and seek approval for exceptions.
  2. Do not release goods to companies on the 'Stop' list without approval.
  3. Ensure receipt of payment before processing trade counter sales.
  4. Only purchase from approved suppliers and stock items as per company guidelines.
  5. Handle non-stock item returns only for specific reasons like damage or fault.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in a Sales Administration position, including processing orders and quotations.
  • Previous experience of working within the HVAC industry.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team but also independently.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
