Branch Responsibilities:
Assigned to the North West Branch (Warrington), reporting directly to the Branch Manager, with oversight of junior surveyors and other branch personnel.

Specific Duties:
  • Comprehend health and safety standards pertinent to tenders and contracts.
  • Ensure precise estimates are produced in line with client specifications and industry best practices.
  • Review contract and tender documents to mitigate risk factors.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the local market dynamics.
  • Assist in the development of tailored method statements for the branch.
  • Understand the cost structure and production metrics to secure work for the branch.
  • Establish and nurture a network of specialized subcontractors and suppliers to minimize dependency on any single entity.
  • Set production targets and ensure contract cost value reports are established.
  • Guarantee the quality of subcontract orders to prevent potential claims against the company.
  • Monitor ongoing contract expenses against initial tender estimates.
  • Identify and address cost variations promptly.
  • Document all variations and extras, reaching agreements with clients as necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Timely submission of payment applications in an agreed format to ensure prompt payment.
  • Ensure timely payment of submitted invoices.
  • Oversee and accrue sales rebates.
  • Authorize subcontractor payments in accordance with company policy.
