Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Edwards & Pearce. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our operational site leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the site HR team to deliver a professional and effective HR service.
  • Support and coach managers on HR best practices and develop leadership abilities and self-awareness.
  • Manage and develop employee performance to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Ensure legal compliance across the site and oversee the recruitment process to ensure the right skills and experience are achieved.
  • Continuously improve employee engagement and wellbeing, including identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Take ownership of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and fairness.
  • Manage the budget for training and development.
Requirements
  • CIPD level 5 qualification.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a leading HR position, managing an HR team with site responsibility.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with operational site leadership teams.
  • Good business acumen and a real interest in site business and process.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (blue/white collar) is desirable.
  • Exposure to a wider, broader HR role, with involvement in key areas of HR.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, with good emotional awareness.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A 'can-do' attitude, with a willingness to 'muck in' and contribute to the team.
