Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 2 team in a Chorley school. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning and development, working closely with the class teacher to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to children, addressing their specific needs and abilities.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons, promoting a love of learning in the classroom.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a sense of community and respect among students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting children with varying learning needs.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in a Key Stage 2 setting, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of the school and its students.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) required.
