Main Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers and prepare competitive quotations for the sales team
  • Place daily purchase orders for stock items
  • Ensure purchase orders are on schedule and deliveries are scheduled
  • Manage the MRP system for your category to maintain stock levels
  • Cultivate relationships with suppliers and enhance performance in your category
  • Maintain control of buying prices and seek cost-reduction opportunities

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in SAP is highly desirable
  • Analyze data strategically
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Embrace the company's values
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Engage in training and self-directed learning for personal development

Working Hours: Monday-Friday from 7.30am to 4.30pm with some flexibility

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum
