About Metro Rod
Metro Rod is a leading provider of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered on a largely reactive basis. The company has been in operation for over 40 years, with a strong presence in the UK, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
The successful candidate will be part of a team that provides a range of emergency and contracted services to both commercial and domestic customers. The company offers a company van and fuel card to support the role.
Job ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of customers' drains
- Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
- Carrying out surveys
- Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
- Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications
- Communicating effectively with high-profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
- Being part of an on-call rota to help service clients 24/7/365 days a year
Requirements:
- High-pressure water jetting and confined spaces experience
- Surveying experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial drainage
- Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge
- Positive, flexible, can-do attitude
- Willingness to work some unsociable hours
- Full UK driving license
- Must live in the Oxfordshire area
