Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled VAT Compliance Specialist to join our Indirect Tax team. As a VAT Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on VAT compliance and ensuring that our clients' VAT obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on VAT compliance and ensure that clients' VAT obligations are met
- Manage a large and varied client portfolio, including responsibility for VAT compliance and advice
- Identify opportunities for selling new services to existing clients and actively seek to provide additional value to our clients
- Deal directly with HMRC and other stakeholders, ensuring that our clients' VAT obligations are met
- Work closely with senior managers and directors to deliver high-quality advice and solutions to our clients
Requirements
- Significant understanding of and previous experience within UK VAT
- In-depth knowledge of recent key updates and areas of focus in the area of VAT
- Ability to manage a large and varied client portfolio
- Ability to actively seek opportunities for selling new services to existing clients
- Experience of dealing directly with HMRC
- Experience of dealing with client senior management and key stakeholders
- Ideal CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent
