About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Shift Manager to join our team at Lidl. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, managing store operations, and leading a team of colleagues to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate and support your team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, stock control, and cash handling
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a positive attitude, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance and customer engagement
  • Work closely with the store management team to achieve business objectives and improve store efficiency
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and leading a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take calculated risks
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, stock control, and cash handling
