We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academy BTEC Post 16 Sports Teacher to join our team at Leeds United Football Club.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs for Post 16 students, focusing on BTEC Sport for Performance & Excellence.
  • Create and manage Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for all players on the Professional Development Phase (PDP) Full Time Training Model (FTTM).
  • Coordinate the Academy PDP A level provision, ensuring seamless integration with training schedules and fixtures.
  • Track and coordinate the knowledge, skills, and behavior (KSBs) for the Sporting Excellence Professional (SEP) Apprenticeship.
  • Deliver selected elements of the SEP KSBs, preparing players for end-point assessment.
  • Monitor and report on player progress, behavior, and development, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to deliver holistic development programs, ensuring players meet their full potential.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent)
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience in a sports performance environment
  • Knowledge of Apprenticeships and involvement in KS5 education
  • FA DBS check and FA Safeguarding Children certification
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a Category 1 Football Academy
  • Performance Coaching experience
