Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Machine Learning

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Machine Learning to join our team at the University of Oxford. The successful candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and computer vision, and will be responsible for developing and implementing novel methods for screen and video understanding, user interaction understanding, planning, and intent prediction with multimodal large language models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement novel methods for screen and video understanding, user interaction understanding, planning, and intent prediction with multimodal large language models.
  • Conduct research in machine learning and computer vision, and publish papers in top-tier conferences and journals.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to develop and deploy machine learning models in real-world applications.
  • Manage and maintain a high-performance computing environment for machine learning research.
Requirements:
  • PhD or DPhil in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Strong background in machine learning and computer vision.
  • Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
