Job Title: Principal Engineer - Product Safety

Location: Various locations across the UK, with flexible working arrangements available.

Salary: Circa £55,000.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer - Product Safety to join our team. As a key member of our Product Safety Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our products throughout the development lifecycle. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential safety risks, and developing and implementing safety strategies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Chartered Engineer or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in industrial controls systems and functional safety.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
