About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Head of Software to join our team at Blues Point Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of our cloud-based platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a software delivery strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of software engineers and ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and to specification.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sales, and Project Management, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
  • Ensure the platform scales efficiently and maintain a customer-centric approach to deliver competitive functionalities.
About You

We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong technical background in software development management, preferably with experience in.Net and Microsoft Azure. You should have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and to specification, as well as a customer-centric mindset.

Key qualifications include:

  • Strong technical skills, knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Vue.
  • 3+ years leadership in similar roles.
  • Familiarity with Jira.
  • Proven ability to scale systems rapidly.
  • Degree in computer science preferred.
Main Duties

As Group Head of Software, your main duties will include:

  • Setting software delivery strategy and aligning departmental culture.
  • Ensuring software project delivery, guiding engineers, and managing dependencies.
  • Managing product roadmap and supporting new functional designs.
  • Ensuring best practices in design, cybersecurity, and deployment.
  • Providing coaching and career guidance.
