Role Overview
GTC, a member of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, is seeking a Water Testing Engineer who is eager to contribute to our mission of fostering customer loyalty and driving business growth through exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
As a Water Testing Engineer, your primary duties will include:

  • Testing, chlorinating, and commissioning water infrastructure as directed, adhering to Water Codes of Practice, and ensuring all tasks are performed to the highest standards of safety and technical quality by following relevant method statements, work procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Possessing a thorough understanding of all incumbent and IWNL Testing, chlorination, and sampling protocols.
  • Maintaining vehicles, plant, and equipment in optimal condition, promptly reporting any defects to the Project Manager.
  • Conducting daily site-specific risk assessments to uphold a safe working environment.
  • Accurately documenting details of work performed.
  • Submitting pertinent work details for recording and invoicing within the designated timeframe.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Water Safety Passport.
  • A Water Hygiene certification.
  • A Street Works card.
  • Experience in Water Mains, Testing, Chlorination, and Sampling.
  • NCO1 Main Laying / Service Laying or equivalent qualifications.
  • A valid UK driving license.
