Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team at Context Recruitment. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of IT projects, transforming IT services, and delivering technology solutions, upgrades, and deployments across the entire technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage several projects concurrently, through the full project lifecycle, including discovery, design, build, migration, test, release, and ensuring ops/support processes are in place.
- Deliver technical IT projects, including IT infrastructure projects, such as DC migrations and network-related projects.
- Work with business stakeholders to define project scope and benefits.
- Implement project processes, including scope management, planning, change control, comms, RAID, quality control, cost management, and procurement.
- Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors and service providers.
- Work closely with technical delivery teams.
Requirements:
- Technical IT Project Management experience, delivering a variety of technical IT projects.
- IT Infrastructure project experience essential.
- A strong understanding of information technology in a corporate environment.
- Demonstrable experience of managing multiple small-to-medium-sized technical projects concurrently.
- Highly organized with demonstrable experience of utilizing best-practice project management governance, tools, and documentation.
- Excellent MS project and PPM tooling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong experience of procuring, engaging, and managing vendors and service providers.
