We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Manager to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of our quality management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Blood and Marrow Transplant Programme meets all relevant regulatory and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead on risk and adverse event management within the programme.
- Manage administrative staff employed in the quality and data management teams.
- Develop and deliver education and training strategies to improve quality and compliance.
- Masters degree in a relevant field, such as Life Sciences, IT, Business, Nursing, or Medical.
- Quality management qualification or relevant experience.
- Extensive experience of quality management issues and change control.
- Line management experience.
- Laboratory or clinical management experience, preferably in a Haematology/Transfusion discipline.
- Experience of external inspection/audit.
- Project management experience.
